Polyester — Typically our most affordable lanyards. Polyester lanyards are the most common and best-selling fabric seen in lanyards, due to being durable and best suited for daily use.

Nylon — Nylon lanyards feature a surface for a more shiny look with a thicker, sleek feeling. These promotional nylon lanyards are usually more expensive than our polyester varieties, but Cotton — A soft feel and a surface that takes color extremely well, but they are not quite as durable as our neoprene, polyester, and nylon lanyards.

How to Customize Your Promotional Lanyards

There are four main methods for adding your logo and custom artwork to your own lanyards. Each method has its benefits. To determine which of these options is the best fit for your promotional item needs we’ve detailed the differences between each method:

Screen Printed Lanyards

Many of our custom lanyards for keys, badges, whistles, and other devices are screen printed. Screen printing is the most affordable option for printing your logo. This process involves pre-cut stencils being held over an item as one color of ink is poured through. Only one color can be added at a time, so the screen printing process, while affordable, has longer production times as compared to most other methods.

Pad Printed Lanyards

When pre-cut metal dies are coated with ink, your logo is transferred to your lanyards by pressing a soft silicone pad against the dies, and then the lanyards. This method is frequently used for items that can't be screen printed due to their shape or surface texture.

Promotional Full-Color Printed Lanyards

Full-color printing is a 4-color process printing method that combines to create virtually any other color on the spectrum. This is a more expensive option than screen printing and pad printing, but it allows for great-quality printing with bolder colors, richer designs, and shorter production cycles.

Custom Dye Sublimated Lanyards

Dye sublimation allows you to create your custom lanyards with designs across the entire surface. Dye sublimation printing allows for full-color lanyards, meaning you can put any image, design, or photo over the lanyard from edge to edge.
